KCIC and its members are committed to providing attractive industrial areas that will promote business expansion and increased employment. The key to achieving this goal is through proper maintenance and improvement of industrial infrastructure.
KCIC Recent Successes
- 14 new or expanded businesses in KC’s industrial areas in 2003-2004
- $132.1 million total investment
- 598 new jobs
- $40 million Chouteau Bridge replacement
- $2.1 million combined sewer system in the Central Industrial District
- $19.4 million storm water system in the Central Industrial District
- Improvements to four key bridges providing access to the Central Industrial District
